Margate are hoping to get back to Ryman Premier Division action this weekend

Volunteers are needed at Hartsdown Park this week to help clear the snow ahead of Margate’s game against Harrow Borough on Saturday.
Like the rest of the teams in Kent, the Blues’ trip to Kingstonian last Saturday fell victim to the wintry weather and the club are hoping to avoid another blank weekend.
The pitch will be left untouched until later in the week, with the snow protecting against frost, but the terraces need urgent attention to make them safe for Saturday’s match.
Margate are asking supporters with spare time to assist the clearance between 9am and 5pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. There are tools available but if volunteers are able to bring their own shovels, it would be advisable.
There will be hot drinks available for all volunteers.
