20-year-old Riain Richards, from Ramsgate, will appear at Dover Magistrates Court in June
A Ramsgate man accused of swinging a cat around by its tail will appear in court in June.
A one-day trial has been set for Friday, June 1, at Dover Magistrates Court for the case of Riain Richards.
The 20-year-old is charged with causing unnecessary suffering to a cat in Ramsgate in October 2011.
It relates to CCTV footage of the animal being swung by its tail.
Mr Richards pleaded not guilty at an earlier hearing at Canterbury Magistrates Court.
